What is Myofascial Release?

Equine Myofascial Release (MFR) is a hands-on therapeutic technique that focuses on releasing tension and restrictions in the fascia—the thin, elastic connective tissue that surrounds and supports every muscle, bone, and organ in the horse’s body. When this tissue becomes tight or restricted (due to injury, overuse, poor posture, stress, or compensation patterns), it can limit movement, create pain, and reduce overall performance.
How does it help my horse?
MFR works by applying slow, sustained pressure to these restricted areas, allowing the fascia to soften and release. This helps relieve muscle tension and soreness, improve flexibility and range of motion, and enhance overall performance. It also supports recovery from injuries, improves circulation and lymphatic flow, and could help correct compensation patterns that develop when the horse is trying to work around pain or restriction. By restoring freedom of movement, Equine Myofascial Release helps horses feel more comfortable, move more naturally, and perform at their best.
What Is PEMF?
PEMF MagnaWave is a non-invasive therapy that uses pulsed electromagnetic fields to stimulate the body at a cellular level. This helps the animals recover, relax, and perform better. The pulses penetrate all the way through soft tissue, muscles, and bone. These waves can go up to 16 inches into the body. Every cell in the body has an electrical charge that helps regulate its function, and when cells become stressed, inflamed, or damaged, this charge weakens. PEMF delivers gentle electromagnetic pulses that stimulate the movement of ions and electrolytes across the cell membrane. This helps restore the cell’s natural energy and improve its ability to repair and function properly. These pulses also cause blood vessels to expand. Which causes increased circulation and oxygenation, while enhancing nutrient delivery and waste removal.
What does it do for my animals?
PEMF aids in increasing circulation, improving oxygenation, and accelerating the body’s natural healing processes. This can help reduce inflammation, relieve soreness, ease stiffness, and support overall mobility. One of the best things about PEMF is that it reaches areas that hands-on therapies often cannot. It’s especially effective for chronic pain, muscle tension, tendon or ligament strains, and general wellness maintenance. It is gentle, safe, and beneficial for animals of all ages and activity levels. Making it a powerful tool for enhancing performance, recovery, and long-term health.
What is Cranial Sacral?

Cranial sacral therapy is a gentle, non-invasive manual therapy that focuses on the horse's craniosacral system. It focuses on the horse’s cranial bones, spine, and sacrum, as well as the soft tissues surrounding the central nervous system. By using light pressure, the practitioner helps restore balance to the flow of cerebrospinal fluid and relieves tension in the fascia and nervous system. The membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounds and protects the brain and spinal cord. The goal is to release restrictions in this system to improve the horse's health and performance!
How does it help my horse?
This therapy can reduce stress, improve relaxation, and help with issues such as headshaking, poll tightness, TMJ discomfort, and overall body stiffness. Because it works directly with the nervous system, cranial sacral therapy can also improve focus, emotional balance, and responsiveness. Overall, it supports whole-body harmony, allowing the horse to move more freely, comfortably, and naturally.
What is Kinesiology?

KT tape stimulates your horse’s nerve endings, specifically the Mechanoreceptors. When these nerve endings are stimulated less nociceptors (pain receptors) can fire, which aids in reducing pain in your horses muscles! When KT tape is applied it mechanically decompresses your horse’s skin and the tissues beneath it! The decompression promotes blood and lymphatic flow. This helps decrease inflammation and can relieve pressure from free nerve endings.
How does it help my horse?
Kinesiology tape can assist with muscle activation or relaxation, depending on how it is applied, making it useful for both performance enhancement and recovery. It supports the body without restricting movement, allowing the horse to stay comfortable while continuing to work, stretch, and heal naturally. KT tape is a versatile tool that helps promote better biomechanics, reduces soreness, and supports healthier movement patterns.
